September 28, 2023: Greenville, SC 29605 The Southside Tigers football team (Greenville, SC), was tipped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC)
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Belton-Honea Path nipped Walhalla (Walhalla, SC), 55-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wren for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. Southside will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 55-12 non-league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-3.
