The Cox Mill Chargers held off the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's league match.

The Chargers now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Mooresville for a Greater Metro 4A match on Monday, October 2. Cox Mill will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-3.
