September 28, 2023: St. Marys, PA 15857 The Elk County Catholic Crusaders soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting East Forest/West Forest Fires to 0 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Crusaders face the DuBois Beavers (DuBois, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 2. Elk County Catholic will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Beavers enter the contest with a 10-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Altoona (Altoona, PA).
The Fires now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarion-Limestone for a UAVSL Boys South contest on Monday, October 2. East Forest/West Forest will face a Lions team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Ridgway (Ridgway, PA). The Lions record now stands at 9-2.
