Delaware High School Soccer - St. Mark's held off by Salesianum
September 28, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19808 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE) and the host St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE), saw Salesianum's soccer squad get by St. Mark's by a margin of 3-2.
The Sallies now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Phelps for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Salesianum will meet a Lions squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over West Nottingham (Colora, MD). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, St. Mark's drops to 2-2 on the season. The Spartans host Glasgow (Newark, DE) to meet the Dragons in a non-league test on Monday, October 2. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 3-3. Glasgow won 6-0 in their recent league test against DuPont (Wilmington, DE)
