Colorado High School Softball - Centaurus bounces Gateway
September 28, 2023: Lafayette, CO 80026 Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middle Park for a 3A Frontier challenge on Thursday, September 28. Centaurus will face a Panthers squad coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Gateway falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Olympians travel to Thornton (Thornton, CO) to face the Trojans in a 4A/3A Colorado challenge on Thursday, September 28. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Thornton won 19-1 in their recent league challenge against Adams City (Commerce City, CO)
