Georgia High School Softball - Mount Vernon bounces Decatur
September 28, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30328 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA), saw Mount Vernon's softball squad achieve victory over Decatur by a count of 8-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 20-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lovett for a non-league test on Thursday, October 5.
The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The War Eagles come into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Woodward Academy was routed by Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA), 11-3, in a non-league test.
