September 28, 2023: Rio Linda, CA 95673 Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Knights clash with the Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) in a Golden Empire League match, on Monday, October 2. Rio Linda will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record.
With the loss, Cordova drops to 4-11 on the campaign. The Lancers host West Campus (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a Greater Sacramento match on Tuesday, October 3. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 24-2.
