The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), saw Palisades's volleyball squad beat South Mecklenburg by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Palisades upgrades its record to 12-4 on the year. The Pumas host Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Trojans in a So Meck 4A bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-12.

The Sabres now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3. South Mecklenburg will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.
