Kentucky High School Football - Hancock County wallops Trigg County
September 28, 2024: Lewisport, KY 42351 The Hancock County Hornets football squad scored 64 points and limited the visiting Trigg County Wildcats to 19 in the Hornets league triumph on Saturday.
The Hornets now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Webster County for a 3A District 1 test on Thursday, October 3. Hancock County will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 29-0 league loss to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Trigg County drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Union County (Morganfield, KY) to meet the Braves in a 3A District 1 test on Friday, October 4. The Braves come into the test with a record of 4-2. Union County won 14-0 in their recent league test against McLean County (Calhoun, KY)
