New York High School Football - Saugerties smashes Liberty
September 28, 2024: Liberty, NY 12754 The Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) football trounced the host Liberty Indians (Liberty, NY), 40-6 in Saturday's league outing.
The Sawyers now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Beacon for a Section 9 B-1 outing on Saturday, October 5. Saugerties will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-12 league loss to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Liberty drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY) to clash with the Dukes in a Section 9 B-1 outing on Friday, October 4. The Dukes come into the outing with a record of 4-0. Marlboro Central won 34-14 in their recent league outing against New Paltz (New Paltz, NY)
