Minnesota High School Soccer - Wayzata knocks off Eastview
September 28, 2024: Apple Valley, MN 55124 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) and the host Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), saw Wayzata's soccer squad prevail over Eastview by a count of 4-0.
The Trojans (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals enter the Class AA Section 6 battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Hopkins tipped Mankato West (Mankato, MN), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lightning battle the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) in a Class AA Section 3 battle, on Monday, September 30. Eastview will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN).
