Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Franklin knocks off Iroquois
September 28, 2024: Erie, PA 16511 The Franklin Knights soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Iroquois Braves to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights now hold a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Oil City for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. Franklin will play a Oilers squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Oilers record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Iroquois falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Braves host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to clash with the Lakers in a District 10 Region 3 test on Tuesday, October 1. The Lakers come into the test with a record of 6-7. Mercyhurst Prep won 4-0 in their recent league test against Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA)
