New York High School Football - Wilson tops Burgard
September 28, 2024: Buffalo, NY 14214 The Wilson Lakemen football squad scored 26 points and limited the host Burgard Bulldogs to 0 in the Lakemen non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lakemen now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Wilson will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Akron (Akron, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Burgard drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Alden (Alden, NY) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-3. Alden lost 18-12 in their recent non-league test against Maryvale (Cheektowaga, NY)
