New York High School Football - Holy Cross falls to Monsignor Farrell
September 28, 2024: Staten Island, NY 10306 The Monsignor Farrell Lions felled the visiting Holy Cross Knights football team by a score of 28-6 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions play the Cardinal Hayes Cardinals (Bronx, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Monsignor Farrell will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 42-20 non-league loss to Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY).
The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea toppled Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY), 41-0, in a league challenge.
