September 28, 2024: Honesdale, PA 18431 West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Scranton advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Invaders host Mountain View (Kingsley, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-2.
The Hornets now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Honesdale will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.
