September 28, 2024: Lexington, KY 40513 Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Paul Laurence Dunbar advances its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Trinity (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Shamrocks in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Shamrocks come into the test with a record of 5-1.
The Briar Jumpers now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wayne County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. Somerset will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.
