With the win, Newark Memorial improves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Notre Dame (San Jose, CA) to face the Regents in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Regents go into the test with a record of 6-3. Notre Dame won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Cupertino (Cupertino, CA)
The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside College Prep for a test on Thursday, October 17.
