Indiana High School Soccer - Merrillville toppled by West Lafayette
September 28, 2024: Merrillville, IN 46410 West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Lafayette moves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN) to clash with the Athenians in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Athenians come into the test with a record of 6-5. Crawfordsville won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Greencastle (Greencastle, IN)
The Pirates now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crown Point for a Duneland battle on Wednesday, October 2. Merrillville will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.
