September 28, 2024: Sparta, NJ 07871 The Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) volleyball knocked off the visiting Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Morristown for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. Sparta will clash with a Colonials team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Randolph (Randolph, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Bergen Tech drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Eastside (Paterson, NJ) to clash with the Ghosts in a North Jersey Tri-County B bout on Monday, September 30. The Ghosts come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Eastside lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Kennedy (Paterson, NJ)
