In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Woodlawn Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Crab Orchard Trojans.

The Cardinals (9-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Bison come into the Midland Trail challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Grayville beat Sandoval (Sandoval, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the Thompsonville (Thompsonville, IL) in a Greater Egyptian challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Crab Orchard will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record.
