In Saturday's non-league match, the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), by a count of 2-1.

In their next game, the Knights face the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) in a Interstate Eight test, on Tuesday, October 1. Kaneland will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL).
