In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Putnam County Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Reed-Custer Comets.

The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, Tolono Unity beat St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
