Kentucky High School Volleyball - Southwestern can't get by Sayre
September 28, 2024: Lexington, KY 40507 Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sayre advances its record to 15-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Madison Central (Richmond, KY) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Indians go into the test with a record of 11-10. Madison Central lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY)
The Warriors now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corbin for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Southwestern will face a Redhounds squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Laurel (London, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 16-3.
