North Carolina High School Football - Panther Creek nips Apex Friendship

The Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) football nudged the host Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), 21-20 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Catamounts clash with the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a 4A East Conference 29 bout, on Friday, October 7. Panther Creek will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 49-21 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC).

The Patriots (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars enter the 4A East Conference 29 bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Apex held off Green Level (Cary, NC), 42-0, in a league bout.
