Louisiana High School Football - Grant topples Buckeye
September 30, 2022: Buckeye, LA 71328 The Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) football defeated the host Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA), 31-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Friday, October 7. Grant will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 49-20 non-league loss to Union Parish (Farmerville, LA).
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bolton (Alexandria, LA). The Bears enter the 3A District 2 bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Bolton defeated Block (Jonesville, LA), 60-12, in a non-league bout.
