September 29, 2022: Wausau, WI 54401 The Rhinelander Hodags volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Newman Fighting Cardinals to 0 in the Hodags non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hodags now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tomahawk for a game on Tuesday, October 4. Rhinelander will confront a Hatchets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Medford (Medford, WI). The Hatchets record now stands at 3-11.
The Fighting Cardinals (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI). The Royals enter the game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Assumption dropped by Newman (Wausau, WI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
