Georgia High School Softball - Cherokee Bluff loses to Walnut Grove
September 29, 2022: Walnut Grove, GA 30052 The Walnut Grove Warriors softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears to 2 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Walnut Grove improves its record to 16-7 on the year. The Warriors host Northside (Columbus, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Friday, September 30. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 16-7. Northside won 13-2 in their recent league game against McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA)
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a 4A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, October 4. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Red Raiders come into the game with a 13-12 record after their 16-1 league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA).
