Georgia High School Softball - Cherokee bounces River Ridge
September 29, 2022: Canton, GA 30114 The Cherokee Warriors routed the visiting River Ridge Knights softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Warriors (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Osborne (Marietta, GA). The Cardinals go into the 7A Region 5 battle with a 0-17 record. In their last battle, Osborne was routed by Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 16-0, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now sport a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Allatoona for a 6A Region 6 battle on Monday, October 3. River Ridge will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Rome (Rome, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 12-7.
