In Thursday's league battle, the host Jefferson Area Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Struthers Wildcats.

The Falcons (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeview (Cortland, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Northeast 8 battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Lakeview achieved victory over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.
