In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Marquette Crusaders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Serena Huskers.

The Crusaders (18-4) will now prepare for their battle against Peoria (Peoria, IL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Peoria lost by Centennial (Champaign, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
