With the triumph, Kentwood improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Kangaroos travel to Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A District 9 test on Friday, October 6. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-4. Thrive Academy lost 42-22 in their recent non-league test against Berwick (Berwick, LA)
With the loss, Amite drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA) to confront the Lumberjacks in a 3A District 7 test on Friday, October 6. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 2-3. Bogalusa lost 36-29 in their recent non-league test against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA)
