The Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) football defeated the host Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), 38-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a 4A Southeast Wake bout, on Friday, October 6. Apex Friendship will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 42-14 league win over Green Level (Cary, NC).

The Catamounts (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs enter the 4A Southeast Wake bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Middle Creek defeated Green Hope (Cary, NC), 49-14, in a league bout.
