September 29, 2023: Mt. Vernon, IA 52314 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA) and the visiting Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA), observed Mt. Vernon's football squad defeat Assumption by a count of 24-7.
