New York High School Football - Peru smashes AuSable Valley

September 29, 2023: Peru, NY 12972

The Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) football routed the visiting AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), 55-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 7. Peru will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Slaters enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 27-20 league win over Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT).

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 7 bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Beekmantown was crushed by Saranac (Saranac, NY), 21-10, in a league bout.
