North Carolina High School Football - Corvian Community can't get by Bishop McGuinness
September 29, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269 Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 34-27 in a league test.
With the triumph, Bishop McGuinness improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Villains host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to confront the Pride in a 1A/2A Conference A test on Friday, October 6. The Pride come into the test with a record of 5-1. Pine Lake Prep won 38-33 in their recent league test against Christ the King (Huntersville, NC)
With the loss, Corvian Community drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 1A/2A Conference A test on Friday, October 6. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 0-6. Carver lost 43-20 in their recent league test against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)
