September 29, 2023: Excel, AL 36439 The Excel Panthers (Excel, AL) football overcame the visiting Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL), 35-12 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Monroe County Tigers (Monroeville, AL) in a 3A Region 1 bout, on Friday, October 6. Excel will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 41-6 non-league loss to Escambia County (Atmore, AL).
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against McKenzie (McKenzie, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, McKenzie thwarted Red Level (Red Level, AL), 40-19, in a league bout.
