North Carolina High School Football - Cabarrus Stallions succumbs to Lake Norman Charter

September 29, 2023: Huntersville, NC 28078

The Lake Norman Charter Knights thwarted the visiting Cabarrus Stallions Stallions football team by a count of 26-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lake Norman Charter upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Knights travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to confront the Comets in a non-league outing on Friday, October 6. The Comets go into the outing with a record of 4-2. North Stanly won 38-0 in their recent league outing against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)

With the loss, Cabarrus Stallions moves to 2-5 on the season. The Stallions host South Carolina Spartans (Rock Hill, SC) to confront the Spartans in a Pioneer outing on Saturday, October 7. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 0-5. South Carolina Spartans lost 56-0 in their recent league outing against Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC)
