Center Roughriders (Center, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX), 76-48 in a league test.

With the triumph, Center improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Van (Van, TX) to battle the Vandals in a 4A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 13. The Vandals come into the test with a record of 5-1.

With the loss, Rusk drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Van (Van, TX) to battle the Vandals in a 4A-2 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 6. The Vandals come into the test with a record of 5-1. Van won 49-3 in their recent league test against Canton (Canton, TX)
