The Central Gwinnett Black Knights football team (Lawrenceville, GA), was ripped 47-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA)

The Hawks (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Buford (Buford, GA). The Wolves come into the AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Buford trounced Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 43-0, in a league challenge.

The Black Knights now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Dacula for a AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, October 13. Central Gwinnett will meet a Falcons team coming off a 23-6 league loss to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
