The Christiansburg Blue Demons football team (Christiansburg, VA), was tipped 24-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA)

The Gladiators (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm come into the Shenandoah challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Staunton was tipped by Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 14-7, in a league challenge.

The Blue Demons now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Blacksburg for a River Ridge challenge on Friday, October 6. Christiansburg will meet a Bruins team coming off a 38-7 league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-3.
