The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Chargers come into the 2A District 7 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Chariton was beaten by Van Meter (Van Meter, IA), 70-0, in a league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Interstate 35 for a 2A District 7 challenge on Friday, October 6. Clarke will meet a Roadrunners team coming off a 35-20 league win over Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 3-3.
