The Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) football routed the host R.A. Long Lumberjacks (Longview, WA), 45-13 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Rapids face the Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens bout, on Friday, October 6. Columbia River will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 39-21 league loss to Woodland (Woodland, WA).
