September 29, 2023: Iron River, MI 49935 Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host West Iron County Wykons (Iron River, MI), 54-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Crandon improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Oconto Falls (Oconto Falls, WI) to battle the Panthers in a Northwoods test on Friday, October 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Oconto Falls won 78-42 in their recent league test against Clintonville (Clintonville, WI)
With the loss, West Iron County drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wykons host Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI) to battle the Broncos in a Western Peninsula - Iron test on Saturday, October 7. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 3-3. Bark River-Harris won 2-0 in their recent league test against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI)
