September 29, 2023: Albany, GA 31707 The Deerfield-Windsor Knights football team (Albany, GA), was beaten 29-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA)
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Trojans come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Tattnall Square Academy achieved victory over Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 41-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Brookwood for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 challenge on Friday, October 6. Deerfield-Windsor will meet a Warriors team coming off a 62-28 non-league loss to John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
