September 29, 2023: Quitman, AR 72131 The Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) football defeated the visiting England Lions (England, AR), 49-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Yellville-Summit Panthers (Yellville, AR) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Friday, October 6. Quitman will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 39-6 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR).
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hazen (Hazen, AR). The Hornets enter the 2A Region 4 bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Hazen defeated Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR), 54-6, in a league bout.
