The Gilbert Christian Knights football team (Gilbert, AZ), was knocked off 42-27 in Friday's league challenge with the host Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ)

The Trojans (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ). The Golden Eagles come into the 3A Metro East challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Bourgade Catholic was knocked off by Florence (Florence, AZ), 63-0, in a non-league challenge.
