The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) and the host Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE), observed Hitchcock County's football squad thwart Maywood/Hayes Center by a count of 40-16.

The Falcons now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Dundy County-Stratton for a D2 District 8 (8 Man) contest on Friday, October 6. Hitchcock County will play a Tigers squad coming off a 62-22 league win over Loomis (Loomis, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
