September 29, 2023: Story City, IA 50248 The Jefferson-Scranton Rams football team (Jefferson, IA), was knocked off 62-31 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA)
The Norsemen (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA). The Lions come into the 2A District 8 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Des Moines Christian was knocked off by Kuemper (Carroll, IA), 61-7, in a league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. Jefferson-Scranton will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 51-7 league win over Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-2.
