The Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) football overcame the host Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 24-13 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Friday, October 6. Stevenson will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Zee-Bees enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 31-0 league win over Waukegan (Waukegan, IL).

The Scouts (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Bears enter the North Suburban bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Lake Zurich thwarted Libertyville (Libertyville, IL), 29-28, in a league bout.
