September 29, 2023: Flint, MI 48505 The Powers Catholic Chargers football team (Flint, MI), was ripped 47-9 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Ogemaw Heights Falcons (West Branch, MI)
The Falcons (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kingsley (Kingsley, MI). The Stags come into the Northern Michigan - Legends challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Kingsley trounced Grayling (Grayling, MI), 56-20, in a league challenge.
The Chargers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Detroit Country Day for a Freelance challenge on Friday, October 6. Powers Catholic will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 49-12 non-league win over Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-4.
